Terms of Service

Effective July 10, 2026

Please read these terms before using this website or joining the Squadwave waitlist.

1. What this site is

Squadwave is currently in early development. This website lets you join a waitlist to be notified about our progress — it is not a store, and joining the waitlist does not reserve a unit, guarantee a price, or create any obligation to buy. We haven't announced final pricing, specifications, or a ship date, and any figures or timelines mentioned on this site are estimates that may change.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to join the waitlist. By signing up, you confirm the information you provide is accurate.

3. Acceptable use

Don't misuse this site — that includes attempting to bypass our bot protection or rate limits, scraping the site, submitting other people's email addresses without their permission, or otherwise interfering with how the site works.

4. Communications

By joining the waitlist, you agree to receive emails from us about Squadwave's development. You can unsubscribe at any time — see our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Intellectual property

The Squadwave name, logo, and the content on this site belong to us. You're welcome to look at it and share links to it, but please don't reproduce, copy, or reuse it without asking us first.

6. No warranty — especially about safety

Squadwave is a concept in development. Nothing on this site is a promise about the final product's features, reliability, or performance.

Once available, Squadwave — like any locating, signaling, or communication device — is not a substitute for basic water-safety practices, a properly fitted personal flotation device, sound judgment, or professional rescue services. It cannot guarantee that help will arrive, or that a signal or alert will be successfully delivered in every situation (extreme weather, terrain, device damage, and other factors can all interfere with performance). Always follow standard safety practices on the water, regardless of what devices you're carrying.

7. Limitation of liability

This site and any information on it are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Squadwave is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on information on it.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and company evolve. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your State], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
